QUEEN SIZE BED FRAME MADE INTO BENCH (part 4 of 4)

I have to apologize for being away for so long without a word on this project. But the good news is that I did finish the project and remembered to take some pictures along the way. As a result, this should be my last post on this project and it is declared COMPLETED! Thank God. I was really busy and trying to finish the project was not easy to do. I haven't parked in my garage in a long while. LOL

Anyway on to the final notes and pictures. I hope you like the finish product.

One thing I decided to speed up the project was to forgo the storage area and just frame it for seating only. I framed the seating area just for that and I added a middle (5th) leg for more weight support.

Then I covered the seating area

And then I filled the cracks, deep dents, screw heads and any place it needed some wood putty. After drying and sanding down wood putty areas, sharp corners or edges I began painting.

For good quality paints at inexpensive prices, but slow selection, periodically visit the clearance shelf at your local building store (i.e. Home Depot). I find great colors at around $20 a gallon. Self priming paints with brand names, just mistakes in color for a customer.

I wanted a dark brown for this bench and I came across a nice dark chocolate. before I even started the project.

Everything was painted. I hate seeing furniture that is painted outside and not under and on the back. So as you can see everything was painted ... ahem ... except the bottoms of the feet. No scuff marks. I am usually smarter than the average bear. LOL

SO here are the finished pics. Tell me what you think and pinterest me. Thank you, especially for your patience.

Talk about Queen Size!

I hope you liked it. I hope someone does ... I will be putting the bench without any cushions (that's personal) on craigslist or maybe the local furniture consignment. Benches less than this cost hundreds of dollars some as much as $400. Crazy, Ridiculous ...

What do you think I should sell this Queen Sized Wooden Bench in Chocolate?
